Let's Scrap Sketch 12-15-15 ~ *Hippie Party*

Well, Hello there My Dear Arty Scrappy Friends, it is lovely to see you again!
Sit a while and relax here on my little piece of cyber crafting space... :-)

This week I would like to share with you my Design Team layout for the
Let's Scrap Sketch #12-15-15... *Hippie Party*.

This layout commemorates a VERY SPECIAL Birthday in my DD#1's life... Her 16th Birthday.

We took the most stunning pictures with her friends and they will definitely be treasure forever and always. ♥♥♥

This is the awesome sketch we got to work with {and I enjoyed every second, just LOVE this sketch!!}

And the layout I created for my DD#1's special Birthday Album
with LOTS & LOTS & LOTS of LOVE!!!!

*Hippie Party*

 Some close ups...

I managed to "get away" with only one butterfly... yes only one... ?!?!?  ;-P

I just LOVE how the title work came out... it is actually some cute kiddies stickers I bought from my friend Estelle's little school stationary shop.  I really miss her as she closed her shop last year and they moved to the Free State.  I used to visit her when my youngest DD#1 was still in Primary School and loved browsing her interesting stickers... still got a whole stack of them to use... :-D

The papers I used are from Pink Paisley...

As telling you in a previous post with a card I made from the same paper collection which you can find here...
 http://ericajoannie.blogspot.co.za/2015/09/feeling-sketchy-card-128-party.html

...I used a range from Pink Paislee - House of Three I have had in my stash for quite a few years now... Such a beautiful range and I really did buy a full pack of these so I have enough to keep me busy for a while...

It is the Soiree Range and on Pink Paislee's website it looks like it's release date was in 2011.

I absolutely LOVE this range, what a BEAUTY, must be one of my favorite Party Themed Collections EVER!!! ♥

I hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed creating this layout with much love!!

I am looking forward seeing you on the Let's Scrap Sketches blog!!

Have a Wonderful Day!

Hugs

*~Feeling Sketchy #135~* *Have a Holly Jolly Holiday*

***MERRY CHRISTMAS***

AND Welcome My Dear Arty Scrappy & Cardmaking Friends!

Today I would like to share with you a Design Team card I created with the Feeling Sketchy Card Sketch #135 which went live today 12-15-15...

 I decided to create a cheery Christmas layout instead of a card this time... but it's such a special sketch that I would like to create a card as well.

*Have a Holly Jolly Christmas*

The cute pic rather goes with this title as my youngest DD#1 is such a funny bunny and is always playing jokes, especially when she was smaller.  Here she is laughing with her Daddy and putting the Christmas hat in front of his face!  Such super special times!! ♥

Some close ups...

Thank you for looking, please follow my blog for more {as you can be certain there will be much more the following months to come!} and I surely hope to see you here again soon!

Please do hop on over to the Feeling Sketchy blog and come and join in all the fun!

Have a Gorgeous Day!!

*~CSI Case File #183~* *Tranquility*

Good Morning Dear Arty Scrappy Friends!

It is another hot Summer's Day today here in Sunny South Africa!

I would like to share with you my layout created for the CSI Case File #183 called
"Tranquility".

This is the Case File from CSI...

 My layout:

Some close ups...

 How I solved the case:

THE SCHEME - I used all 5 colors

EVIDENCE - I chose these clues:
Clouds
Leaves {in stamping}
Grid design {using masks}
People icons {my husband}

TESTIMONY
Topic:  I documented the absolute tranquility in which my husband manages to relax.
He has an enormous talent to divert his focus even if a storm is raging around him.
He truly inspires me in so many ways and is the most important person in my life.

Thank you so much for being here!!

Have a Fantastic Wednesday!!

Hugs

*~Feeling Sketchy #134~* *LOVE*

Welcome My Dear Arty Scrappy & Cardmaking Friends!

It's almost Christmas and I surely hope you have a stunning Christmas Holiday!!

Today I would like to share with you a Design Team card I created with the Feeling Sketchy Card Sketch #134 which went live today 12-1-15...

*LOVE*
A card full of pretty, sparkling, dreamy stars...

Some close ups...

I just randomly cut a piece of leftover paper and was happy the first time with how it came out.
I am not one for precise measurements and like to live dangerously, cutting as I please! :-)

The large stars were created with white cardstock, strong enough to withstand inks and sprays,
using Tim Holtz Distress ink and gold mists.

Thank you for visiting and I surely hope to see you here again soon!

Please do hop on over to the Feeling Sketchy blog and come join in the fun of card making, especially in this jolly Christmas season!

Have a Beautiful Day!!

Hugs

Let's Scrap Sketch 12-1-15 ~ *Peace & Joy*

***Merry Christmas***

...Well... almost! ;-)...

Anyway... until then...

My Dear Arty Scrappy Friends,
May you be blessed beyond measure!!

Today I would like to share with you my special Christmas layout created for the Let's Scrap Design Team...

{You see, just in time for Christmas! ♥ }

This is the fantastic sketch we got to work with...

 #12-1-15...

*Peace & Joy*

Some close ups...

I created this with some metal by embossing it with the Cuttlebug.

I used Seam Binding Ribbon and Tim Holtz Distress Inks to make my own colored ribbon especially for this layout.

 So true, isn't it?? Christmas is such a magical time!! ♥

I cut the flags out from the different papers.

Thank you so much for visiting, it is always lovely to see you!!

Have a Fantastic Christmas Holiday & Enjoy every Moment with your Loved Ones!

Hugs
